Who runs the shop?
Trimdon Treasure’s Shop is a community shop, which sells quality new and used goods, donated mainly from out of the area. Profits from the shop will go back in to the community to offer better facilities for all.
Trimdon Treasures the Magazine, is for the Trimdon Area, offering well priced advertising for local businesses and stories on the community…The majority of the profits go back to Trimdon Treasures Shop.
Who can apply for money from Trimdon Treasures?
Anyone in the Trimdon Area who would like to set up or is involved in a community group can apply for money. All you need to do, is write a letter of application and send it to trimdonshop@hotmail.com or drop it in to Trimdon Treasures Community Shop at Trimdon Colliery. All applicants will be referred to the committee.
Not as yet, however we have been approached by a Scout and Guides group, they are hoping to set a group up in our area. As soon as the application is made, it will be referred to the committee
Do you collect goods etc for the shop?
Unfortunately we do not have means of Transport to collect items as yet, but you are more than welcome to drop them in during opening hours.
The shop is run by a group of volunteers, anyone who would like to volunteer to work in the shop, please contact trimdonshop@hotmail.com or a member of the committee on 07933 828734.
